Tomasz Laczny (1974) is a UK-Based Polish-British book artist and writer exploring themes of displacement and human connection. As an immigrant himself, he has built his artistic practice around the themes of migration and separation. At the core of his practice lies storytelling. He works predominantly with books as a medium, combining photography, drawing, text, spoken word, and archival interventions. He has published several acclaimed books, including 'Erna Helena Ania', part of MoMA’s collection. An educator, he leads international storytelling and bookmaking workshops, fostering a global artist community. His work has been showcased at numerous international exhibitions and book fairs.
