The Revisions project was developed through close collaboration with Warlpiri painters and community members at the Warlukurlangu Art Centres in Yuendumu and Nyirripi.
As part of the project’s ethical framework, a dedicated body of work—the Yuendumu Collection—has been established. For those works that are part of this collection, two Artist’s Proofs (APs) have been made, next to the original. One of these is held in the community’s archive, and the other is retained by the artist.
The purpose of these Artist’s Proofs is to ensure the community has a physical record of the work to exhibit, archive, or use in ways that serve their needs. This is a core part of the project’s commitment to shared custodianship and cultural continuity.
